Sophus Andersen is a Danish writer, director, and editor based in New York and Copenhagen.

Born in 1996, he grew up in rural Denmark, before moving to Copenhagen at the age of 16.

In 2017, aged 20, he began directing and editing music videos
for some of Denmark’s biggest hip-hop and pop artists.

In 2022, he wrote and directed his first short film, A Boy’s Mind,
which was nominated for the New Danish Talent Award at the Copenhagen Short Film Festival.

In 2024, he moved to New York to pursue an MFA in Film at Tisch School of the Arts.

His second short film, Stimuli, was selected for the Danish Competition
at the 2025 Odense Film Festival.
